The Branded Furniture Company was born out of the belief that upholstered furniture was missing a key ingredient, brands. Real brands, with authentic stories to tell.
As people, we’re passionate about our furniture. It hold’s a special place in our home and something we feel emotionally attached to. This is comparable to how we feel about our favourite brands.
In 2018, The Branded Furniture Company was formed, which is a collaboration between B&F Studios – a specialist furniture design and creative agency + Whitemeadow Furniture – a leading UK manufacturer of upholstered furniture.
This partnership means we offer brands an end-to-end product design & development service, including leaning on our years of industry relationships to find the perfect retail partner.

We believe there is only one meaningful way to work with external partners: true collaboration. That means taking the time to deeply understand a brand’s customer, its audience, and the way they connect. We define the non-negotiables early — from price point and positioning to style, value, and quality — ensuring absolute clarity from the outset.

We then translate that deep understanding and insight into a clear product strategy. This is where design vision, commercial objectives, and customer expectations come together. From style category planning to fabric selection and price architecture, every decision is guided by purpose. Our team works closely with partners to refine concepts, materials, and construction, ensuring every piece reflects the brand’s identity.

A successful collection needs the right introduction. We collaborate with our partners to position the range within their wider offering, supporting everything from launch planning and merchandising to product storytelling, ensuring it connects naturally with the end customer.
